Marshall, VA

Marshall, Virginia was originally named Salem in 1797, but was later re-named to honor our nation's longest serving Chief Justice John Marshall, who spent part of his life here. It is recognized as an Historic District by the National Register of Historic Places.
Marshall is a small but active community of homes, businesses, schools and service groups. It has it's own Business and Residents Association, Volunteer Fire Department, Volunteer Rescue Squad, Community Center, Library, and Community Park.
